The Facilities Management Division is responsible for the maintenance of all County owned and operated buildings including some leased structures.

Facilities Management is comprised of five sections: Maintenance, Capital Project Delivery, Real Property, Building Operations and Automation, Security, and Administration.

The Maintenance team maintains 4.9 million square feet of County facilities. They respond to approximately 20,000 work orders annually for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and structural issues.

The Capital Project delivery team is responsible for both vertical and horizontal construction, roofing, HVAC and major electrical system replacements, general renovations and building upgrades. The team manages important projects such as Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park, Paradise Coast Sports Complex, Golden Gate Golf Course, Collier County Mental Health Facility and the Main Campus Chiller Plant. The capital projects delivery team is responsible for project
budgets totaling over $260 million over the next five years.

The Real Property Management team’s major functions are the acquisition and disposition of county-owned land and buildings, leasing activities for the county, and managing the GAC Land Trust and Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens cemetery.

The Building Operations and Automation team manages the 24/7 operations center. They oversee County background checks, card access system requests, the video management system, agency security and special event coordination.

Our Administration team provides support for other sections within the division. This team is responsible for managing the budget, providing
clerical assistance and helping operations.
