Welcome to the Transportation Planning Section

The mission of the Transportation Planning section is to addresses the primary needs for major transportation improvements including corridor evaluations and studies, land use, concurrency management, development review, long range transportation planning, traffic calming, coordinate closely with the Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) which operates as an independent planning agency.

Transportation Planning provides the following services to residents and visitors of Collier County:

• Coordination & review of developer commitment agreements
• Development & maintenance of the Transportation Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
• Studies for future corridor improvements 
• Concurrency management
• Transportation impact fee credits and analysis
• Neighborhood Traffic Management Program.

The Transportation Planning Section continues to coordinate long range planning services with the Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).  Link to MPO website.
